Plymouth Boat Fest returns to Mount Batten

Plymouth Boat Fest 2026, powered by Marine AI, returns to Plymouth Yacht Haven in Mount Batten on Saturday 20th June, following its inaugural event in 2025.

The free event is set to bring together more than 60 local businesses, highlighting Devon and Cornwall’s marine leisure, watersports, technology and maritime autonomy sectors.

We are incredibly proud of the support and engagement we’ve received from local businesses who want to make Plymouth Boat Fest a success. We want to provide a showcase for the South West’s diverse maritime sector, bringing together companies displaying their vessels, products and services, while also connecting with the local community around future skills and career opportunities. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to the show on Saturday 20th June.

Marine technology and career opportunities

A dedicated Marine Technology Zone will reflect Plymouth’s role in maritime autonomy, with exhibitors including Marine AI, Fugro, Thales, OSHEN, SEA-KIT and Plymouth Marine Laboratory.

Employability will be a key theme, with the zone highlighting career opportunities in engineering, AI, software development and robotics. Marine AI will host a student ‘Meet and Greet’, while SeaRegs Training will offer guidance for those looking to enter the sector.

Boats, leisure exhibitors and live demonstrations

The on-water exhibition area will be expanded, with additional pontoon space supported by Plymouth Marine Centre. Exhibitors afloat include Princess Motor Yacht Sales, The Island Trust’s 96ft tall ship, WetWheels, Wolf Rock Boat Company, Wills Marine, the Plymouth RNLI lifeboat and vessels from Cattewater Harbour Commissioners.

A shoreside Marine Leisure Zone, led by Haven Knox-Johnston, will include Hemisphere Rigging Services, Nathan Bone Yacht Repair, Ancasta, Red Ensign Yachts, Fischer Panda and the Ocean Conservation Trust.

Visitors can watch live on-water demonstrations throughout the day, including autonomous boats from Marine AI, efoiling with EFoil UK, flare demonstrations, RNLI exercises and junior sailing from Plym Yacht Club.
