New Electric Propulsion Line

Torqeedo presented a significant update to its electric propulsion portfolio at Metstrade 2025, unveiling new outboard motors and next-generation system components. The showcase, delivered alongside Yamaha Motor, marks the first public appearance of the upgraded Cruise 3.0 (48 V) and 6.0 (48 V), the new Travel XS, and the latest Deep Blue G3N architecture.

Upgraded cruise models

Central to the announcement was the evolution of the Cruise line. The models adopt a unified 48-volt platform designed to improve compatibility across Torqeedo’s component ecosystem. The motors feature a foldable tiller with a high-resolution display, integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and full connectivity to the TorqView app for live system data.

Both models now operate on a more powerful 48-volt platform and are compatible with larger batteries, such as our 5 kWh Power 48 battery. We have also applied a holistic approach to production: up to 95 % of shaft-head components are made from recycled ocean plastic. With the upgraded Cruise motors, we combine comfort and innovation in harmony with nature

Travel XS Joins the Line-Up

The new Travel XS serves as an accessible entry point to the Travel family. Rated at 700 W, it suits smaller dinghies and will be available as the Travel Smart Package with the new Travel Battery XS (648 Wh) from early 2026.

New Deep Blue System Components

Torqeedo is also expanding its Deep Blue range with the Intelligent Control Unit and Power Distribution Unit. These components provide scalable control for 400 V and 800 V systems up to 400 kW, supporting OEMs, fleet operators, and eco-tourism providers. Their plug-and-play layout aims to simplify installation and integration.
