Final countdown to Plymouth Boat Fest 2026
Plymouth Boat Fest 2026 will bring marine technology, leisure boating and live demonstrations to Mount Batten this June.
Garmin have announced two new additions with built-in GPS to their marine communication product line-up: the AIS 800 transceiver with Class B/SO and the VHF 315i marine radio with Class D digital selective calling. Both systems complement the latest Garmin GPSMAP. The 25W VHF 315i marine radio is easy to use, and with NMEA 2000 connectivity it integrates seamlessly into the Garmin on-board system. It features optional GPS (external GPS antenna required), and also includes the GHS 11i handset and new active speaker to use as an intercom between up to three stations.
