Dometic FreshJet FJXM7 3500

Dometic has unveiled the FreshJet FJXM7 3500, a compact rooftop climate solution developed for modern marine environments.

Based on Dometic’s established FreshJet platform for RV applications, the FJXM7 has been marinised and validated for leisure and commercial marine use. The system includes marine-grade stainless-steel components, specially coated coils, sealed electrical systems and a wave-impact-tested compressor unit to support dependable performance in harsher marine conditions.

The FreshJet FJXM7 delivers 3500W of cooling and 3000W of heating from a single self-contained rooftop unit. Its integrated inverter compressor technology is designed to provide rapid, quiet cooling while reducing start-up current and improving energy efficiency.

This may make it particularly relevant for work boats or cruisers operating with limited onboard power, hybrid systems or variable load profiles.

The unit is designed to operate in temperatures from -12°C to 52°C, helping maintain onboard comfort across a wide range of global operating environments.

The system fits standard 400 x 400 mm openings and roof thicknesses from 25–60 mm, supporting straightforward installation on both new-build and refit projects while helping to preserve interior space.

Available in black and white finishes, the FreshJet FJXM7 also features integrated CleanAir filtration, connectivity through the Dometic Climate app and compatibility with the optional FJX ADBD air distribution box, which includes touch controls and integrated LED lighting.
