Laser Tools launches compact 2-in-1 mini air ratchet 

Laser Tools has introduced the 9295 Mini Air Ratchet, a compact pneumatic tool that combines a 3/8-inch square drive ratchet with an integrated 1/4-inch hex bit holder. The tool forms part of the company’s 50th Anniversary range and is intended for use in confined working areas such as engine bays, dashboards and boat interiors. 

According to Laser Tools, the dual-function design enables technicians to switch between sockets and screwdriver bits without changing tools which can help improve workflow when working in restricted-access locations. 

The 9295 Mini Air Ratchet is powered by a 0.3HP five-blade air motor and measures 134mm in length, with a weight of 0.45kg. 

Laser Tools states that the tool produces a maximum torque of 47.5Nm and a free speed of 300rpm, making it suitable for quickly tightening or loosening fasteners before final tightening by hand where required. 

The ratchet is designed to operate at a recommended 90psi, with an air consumption of 3cfm, and features a 1/4-inch BSPT air inlet compatible with Connect Workshop Consumables airline couplings. 

Laser Tools says the 9295 is covered by the company’s 50-year warranty as part of its 50th Anniversary range. Full warranty terms are available on the company’s website.
