Laser Tools launches stackable workshop storage system

Laser Tools has introduced a stackable storage system designed for Marie technicians and others who need adaptable tool organisation at a workbench, in a workshop or beside a vehicle.

The modular units can be stacked and locked together in different combinations. Laser Tools says the system provides secure storage that can be expanded as requirements change. An optional trolley base converts the modules into a mobile workstation, while a side pegboard provides space for frequently used tools.

The range comprises three storage configurations and a wheeled base:

• 9283 Premium Stackable 4 Drawer Storage System with Top Box – includes a 78 mm-deep top box and four drawers.
• 9284 Premium Stackable 2 Drawer Storage System with Top Box – combines a smaller top box with two drawers.
• 9285 Premium Stackable 2 Drawer Storage System – a drawer-only module designed to expand an existing setup.
• 62919 Trolley Base for Premium Stackable Storage System – a wheeled base for mobile use.

Laser Tools states that the modules are manufactured from impact-resistant ABS plastic and fitted with metal ball-bearing drawer runners and self-latching drawers. Each drawer is rated for a load of up to 6 kg.

The trolley base has four 100 mm swivel castors, two of which include brakes, and is rated to carry up to 100 kg.

The system forms part of the company’s 50th-anniversary premium storage range and is covered by what Laser Tools describes as a special 50-year warranty.
