Nordkapp introduces the Airborne 5.4 compact performance RIB
Nordkapp has revealed the Airborne 5.4, a compact new RIB designed to deliver serious performance in a practical 5.4m package.
Since being formed in 2011, Boat Shop have sold large numbers of Parker Boats, Zodiac RIBs and brokerage boats, as well as being a main dealer for Mercury and Suzuki outboards. And last year, Boat Shop were appointed as distributors for Monterey boats, who have produced over 35,000 boats in the last 25 years and are regarded as one of the leading builders of bowriders up to 37ft.
Every Monterey boat is NMMA certified and has a special warranty that is transferable to a second owner for up to 10 years. Its two main factories comprise a total of 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space and Monterey employ more than 500 full-time boatbuilders.
Since the Monterey range has been absent from the UK marketplace for a few years, Boat Shop were keen to take on the distributorship, and Boat Shop owner Mick Mills commented: ‘We chose Monterey boats because of their focus on design, build quality and aesthetics. The Monterey name stands for more than boat manufacturing – they believe it’s a family and a way of life.’
