Jeanneau unveils Cap Camarat 6.0 CC dayboat for 2026

Jeanneau has unveiled the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC, a new centre-console dayboat intended for watersports, swimming and day trips with family and friends.

The model will make its world premiere at the Grand Pavois boat show in La Rochelle, France, from 22 to 27 September 2026 with the view of it representing a new generation for the Cap Camarat range, combining a revised hull, updated styling and a flexible deck layout.

In standard form, the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC has an open foredeck designed to provide space for equipment, work or storage. According to Jeanneau, the full-width panoramic console takes inspiration from the Cap Camarat 9.0 CC launched in 2025. A large storage cabin can be accessed from the bow, while the flip-up bolster seats at the stern can be converted into a lounge area.

The standard engine is rated at 115hp, with a 150hp option available for those seeking additional performance and Jeanneau says the boat has been developed to be straightforward to handle and competitively priced for private users, boat clubs, charter companies and boating schools.

Available equipment includes additional aft platforms to improve access to the water, fixed cockpit lockers and a WC in the forward cabin.

The Aqua-top is the model’s principal new feature. Stored above the T-top while the boat is under way, the floating mat can be inflated and deployed on the water at anchor to create additional lounging space. An optional Ambiance pack adds a black lacquered six-spoke steering wheel, storage pouch, gloss black panel, foam backrest padding and an upgraded floor. Buyers can also specify a Light Blue hull colour and Baltic/Iceberg upholstery.

The Cap Camarat 6.0 CC has a beam of 2.34m, which Jeanneau says allows it to be transported in a 40ft container. They also state the boat’s overall length of less than 6m has been selected to meet requirements in the Spanish market. Its compact dimensions are also intended to simplify trailer transport.

Jeanneau says more than 35,000 Cap Camarat boats have been sold worldwide during the range’s history of more than 40 years. The new model retains the range’s narrow, tapered bow and introduces revised exterior branding. The Jeanneau name now appears on the hull, while Cap Camarat is displayed as a signature on the bow.
