Railblaza, well renowned for their innovative product design and swift response to market demands, has released their latest product. This time entering the storage crate market with the Gear Hub.
True to their sustainability policy, the Gear Hub base and sides are manufactured from 100% post-consumer recycled material. Since 2018, Railblaza estimate to recycle 10 tons of plastic per year through continued investment in in-line recycling at their plastic moulding plant, solidifying their recycling efforts globally.
The Gear Hub has numerous features to make it far more than just a storage crate; the Gear Hub includes 4 integrated rod holders, 9 accessory tracks to mount additional Railblaza products, 2 recessed handholds, rod and reel tethers, multiple tie-down points and enough space for 8 tackle boxes.
David Jacobs, Team England Kayak Angler, told us: “It is well designed and constructed, and is easy to put together, and knowing Railblaza products, I expect it will last a long time! I have not added any accessories to the Gear Hub yet but I’m looking at all the options available before I make my choice. On a recent river trip, I got caught out by the current and was pushed under by an over-hanging tree. My kayak flipped and I ended up in the drink! Normally this would mean a lot of lost gear, but thanks to the rod lanyards and the self-latching lid, I lost nothing.”
The Gear Hub has vast applications and is sure to be a favourite for paddle sport, fishing and boating enthusiasts, however it will surely be a popular choice in the outdoor adventure market too. Hats off to Railblaza, it looks like they have designed another gem.
