Dometic has introduced the CFX5 series, its most advanced electric cooler, to the European market. For instance, the new range features Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIP) for improved insulation and energy efficiency while reducing weight. Additionally, the Dometic CFX5 series is constructed with either carbon steel or aluminium and polypropylene, ensuring durability.
The CFX5 series is equipped with Dometic’s most powerful compressor, the VMSO 3.5, offering superior refrigeration and freezing capabilities. Select models include dual-zone cooling, with temperatures reaching as low as -7°F (-22°C). Users can control settings remotely via the Dometic app.
Designed for rugged outdoor use, the CFX5 features a durable build, an alert system for open lids, and a built-in bottle opener. It is available in Ore and Slate colour options and comes in multiple sizes, from 25L to 95L. Highlights include the easy-open latch, ergonomic handles, and removable baskets which enhance usability, while the weatherproof TFT display ensures intuitive operation.
The cooler runs on AC (110-240V), DC (12/24V), or Dometic’s portable batteries and solar panels. A three-stage dynamic battery protection system prevents vehicle battery drain. Additional features include an interior light, a non-slip removable lid, and an 18W QC 3.0 USB port.
Pricing starts at EUR 749 for the 25L model, with the largest 95DZ version priced at EUR 1,299.
