Wessling, Germany (17 July 2023) – Torqeedo, the global market leader for electric mobility on the water, is calling on boat owners to exchange their old combustion engines for Travel series electric outboards as part of their “Time for a Change” campaign.
With the “Time for a Change” campaign Torqeedo aims to encourage the phase-out of small fossil fuel-powered outboards, which pollute the air and water. To accelerate the transition to more sustainable boating, the company is offering 300€ cash back on Travel 1103 and 603 motors for a limited time.
“Today, Travel motors are a common sight in most marinas because they’re lightweight, reliable, low-maintenance and easy to use. In fact, we often hear that the Travel was a boater’s first experience with e-mobility, long before they ever drove an electric car,” said Fabian Bez, CEO of Torqeedo GmbH. “Our goal with the “Time for a Change” campaign is to enable even more boaters to experience the joy of clean, quiet, and emission-free boating.
