Biocide-free silicone antifouling paint tops European study
Chalmers-led research found biocide-free silicone antifouling paint performed best against hull fouling in Swedish, Danish and French coastal waters.
With the Imagine 130, ZAR have entered a new segment in the market, that of registered boats, while maintaining the company’s tradition of its patented, high-performance hulls, combined with characterful layout and novel design. This newboat boasts a sporty yet elegant line and features two large cabins, a bathroom with a separate shower, comfortable seating areas and large sun decks.
The boat has been built using the infusion technique, which enables a significant reduction in weight compared to conventional layering, and the T-top is also made in one piece and exclusively from carbon fibre. The ergonomic dashboard offers ample space for electronic equipment and the cockpit provides three seats, suitable for high-speed navigation.
Behind the seats, there is a large frame designed for appliances, complete with a 130L-capacity refrigerator, an induction hob and sink, while under the stern sofas there is a garage for a 180cm tender.
