What's new at Southampton International Boat Show 2026?

The Southampton International Boat Show returns to Mayflower Park from 18 to 27 September 2026, bringing together more than 700 exhibitors and 500 boats and watercraft across ten days on the water. Organisers say the 2026 edition will feature more than 20 world, UK and show debuts, with over 250 vessels displayed in the marina alone. Event Director Jasmine Hill said this year’s line-up “highlights the incredible innovation, craftsmanship and diversity within our sector, from cutting-edge performance yachts to luxury motor vessels and accessible boats designed for everyday adventures.”

From a six-figure flybridge cruiser to a hand built wooden runabout, here is everything new to see on the water this year, plus the practical details for planning a visit.

When and where does SIBS 2026 take place?

The show runs daily from 10am to 6pm at Mayflower Park, Southampton (SO14 2AS), with the Shipyard entertainment zone staying open until 9pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. The final day, 27 September, closes early at 4:30pm.

How much are tickets and how do I get there?

Adult tickets currently start from £29, with under 15s admitted free and Premium tickets, which include fast track entry, lounge access and a table served lunch, from £149. Group bookings of ten or more save 10 percent on the gate price.

By road, the venue sits just off the M3 and M27, with event signage guiding traffic to the waterfront. By rail, Southampton Central station is a 15 to 20 minute walk away, with Quayconnect buses linking the station, Westquay and Town Quay, and Red Funnel’s Isle of Wight ferry terminal sits right next to the show entrance. Show parking can be pre-booked online, with the Westquay Multi-Storey, Harbour Parade, Town Quay and an official Park and Ride all within easy walking distance.

The Shipyard stage will be bringing visitors live music throughout the show and staying open until 9pm on Friday & Saturday evening.

What food, drink and entertainment can visitors expect?

The Shipyard is the social heart of the show, with live music, waterside seating and street food ranging from wood fired pizza to fresh seafood, plus the returning Guinness Bar. Elsewhere, highlights include the new Key Yachting J/70 Invitational Cup race, a Sail Hub aimed at sailing content creators, demonstrations at the Wooden Boat Stage, and hands-on watersports including paddleboarding and diving experiences. Dryrobe also returns as an exhibitor, showcasing a new collaboration with the RNLI, named the show’s Charity of the Year for 2026.

Port and starboard balconies open out with hammocks and director’s chairs, while the helm gets triple 16-inch Garmin displays and an integrated joystick. Entry pricing starts at £1,742,000.

Finnish builder Nord Star brings the NS49+SCY to stand M327-M335, fitted with an optional triple Volvo Penta D6-480 stern drive setup for its first showing outside Finland.

Alongside it, for it’s UK debut, Nord Star shows the 49+SCY Flybridge, the brand’s largest serial production model. The “SCY” designation stands for Semi Customised Yacht, meaning buyers can choose alternative layouts for the upper deck and aft entertaining area.

Sole UK distributor Saltwater Solutions brings the Windy SR40 to stand M143/M144, the Scandinavian yard’s latest cruiser built for entertaining and weekend escapes. Built by a small team of artisans on the Venetian lagoon, it pairs 1960s styling with a 520hp Mercury Racing V8 for a top speed of around 45 to 50 knots.

Fine Design Marine, the UK distributor for Viknes, brings the Norwegian-built S35 Panorama to stand M337, a Scandinavian cruiser with an electrically opening glass roof over the saloon and an enclosed aft deck that opens the same way. It sleeps five across three cabins and is powered by Yanmar diesel options up to 440hp, from £330,909 ex VAT.

Excite Sports brings Boatworld’s Carbon Pro 330 and Cruiser 320 to stand P43. The Carbon Pro 330 is a heavy-duty tender for motor cruisers and yachts, launched in an exclusive black-and-orange colourway, while the Cruiser 320 inherits its catamaran hull from the larger Cruiser 380 and packs down small enough for a yacht locker, vehicle boot or motorhome garage.

What new marine technology and gear will be on show?

Away from the marina, organisers say a further 20-plus debuts span electronics, onboard systems and watersports gear. Icom brings a world premiere double act to stand A58: the slimline IC-M430 fixed-mount VHF and the MA-600TRBB Class B+ AIS transponder. ZGYRO gives its all-electric, oil-free gyro stabiliser a UK premiere on stand H172, claiming up to 95 percent less roll at anchor and underway. Jimmy Green Marine unveils its self-launching Ankerplex Drop anchor as a world premiere alongside the UK premiere of its SnubberBuddy quick-release chain hook, both on stand H8. Honda Marine UK shows its full outboard range, from 2.3hp to 350hp, alongside Honwave inflatables on stand P40, while Sea Scooter UK gives the Sublue Vapor Pro underwater scooter, capable of 12km/h to a 40 metre depth, its world debut on stand H100. For life aboard, GN Espace unveils what it calls the world’s first IPX5-rated electric deck grill, the Alize Gastro Grill, while Advance Yacht Systems brings UK premieres of Cristec’s energy-management system and Dessalator’s quieter, brushless watermakers to stand H148.

Why visit Southampton International Boat Show 2026?

Beyond the new arrivals, look out for Princess Yachts’ six-strong fleet spanning the V50 to the X80, a beautifully refitted Princess 72 from Setag Yachts showing what a quality refit can achieve, and a preview of SE Yachts’ 2027 Delta 48 Adventure, due to be unveiled live during the show. Organisers say further debuts will be announced in the run-up to September. With ten days of new boats, expert talks and waterside dining to explore, SIBS 2026 is shaping up to be a show you shouldn’t miss.
